Corcovado National Park One Day Tour

 

For travelers with limited time, we’ve designed a Corcovado one-day tour so you won’t miss the opportunity to explore this beautiful natural paradise. Our one-day Corcovado tour departs early from San José, with pick-ups also available in Jaco, Manuel Antonio, Quepos, Uvita, and Dominical. The departure from San José is around 3:00 AM due to the park’s remote location. In Jaco, we pick up at around 4:30 AM, in Manuel Antonio, it’s at 5:30 AM, with pick-ups in Uvita and Dominical about 1.3 hours later.

Adults: $430 USD per person.

Children ages 0–5: $390 USD.

+13% tax applies.

Minimum: 2 people. If only one person books, an additional fee applies (equivalent to the double rate).
There is no maximum limit to operate the tour.

Adults: $670 USD per person.

Children ages 0–5: $640 USD.

Highlights of the Tour:

 

• We’ll arrive at the Sierpe River dock, where you can enjoy breakfast (not included). You’ll meet your guide here.
• We’ll take a boat ride along the Sierpe River, one of the most scenic rivers in Costa Rica, for about 1.5 hours.
• We’ll cruise through the famous Drake Bay, the gateway to Corcovado National Park.
• We’ll continue by boat to the San Pedrillo station, the first station of Corcovado National Park.
• After entering through the station’s entrance, we’ll start the hike along the park’s trails.
• Your guide will immerse you in this incredible ecosystem, showcasing a rich diversity of flora, fauna, birds, and more.
• After the hike, we’ll return to San José, arriving around 9:30 PM.

 

Corcovado National Park Day Tour from San José and Manuel Antonio – Full Itinerary

 

3:00 AM – Departure from San José. Hotel pickup included.
5:30 AM – Hotel pickup in Manuel Antonio.
7:00 AM – Arrival at Sierpe dock and breakfast (only included for departures from San José).
7:50 AM – Boarding the boat in Sierpe.
8:00 AM – Start of the Corcovado National Park Tour (San Pedrillo Station), navigating through the scenic Térraba-Sierpe Wetlands.
9:30 AM – Arrival at the park entrance. Guided hikes begin through jungle trails, rivers, and to the waterfall.
1:00 PM – Picnic-style lunch in the park.
3:00 PM – Tour ends and return boat ride begins.
4:00–4:30 PM – Arrival back at Sierpe dock.
4:30 PM – Return transfer to San José and Manuel Antonio.
6:30 PM – Arrival at hotels in Manuel Antonio.
9:30 PM – Arrival at hotels in San José.
